SPECIALIST TRADE CONTRACTORS FEDERATION

The New Zealand Specialist Trade Contractors’ Federation Incorporated is an umbrella group representing the interests of specialist trade contractor groups. The list of members can be found here. The New Zealand Specialist Trade Contractors’ Federation Incorporated was established in 1997 to represent the interests of subcontractors and specialty trades in the building and construction industry in industry-wide issues. The Federation has taken a lead role in educating on the law change, is an active member of the NZ Construction Industry Council, and represents views of subcontractor organisations in legislation including the Building Act and the review of insolvency law. The Federation also has representatives on the boards of Building Research and other pan-industry organisations.
